Yeah I've suddenly lost video feed on my s7 edge now.You will need to download Go 4 for the Mavic. Download the latest version, follow the setup instructions, and see how it works. You will also need to download DJI Assistant 2 preferably to a computer to run various updates and calibrations of your RC and Mavic.
The bad reviews are from DJI's history of releasing buggy software. Just set things up according to whatever startup instructions you have and go to an open field (hopefully close to home) and see how things work. I also run on Android and found that Go 4 version 4.1.15 works well for me (4.1.18 hosed the video feed). They may have fixed the problems on the latest version so your experience may vary.
That happened to me; fine one flight then bad a few days later. Found out that Go 4 had been updated in the background. Downgraded to 4.1.15 and stopped automatic updates to my tablet and have not had a repeat experience.Yeah I've suddenly lost video feed on my s7 edge now.
I just downgraded to 4.1.15 and still same issue with no camera signal. Says disconnected. That happened to me; fine one flight then bad a few days later. If Go 4 says disconnected, I suspect the cable or its connection. When 4.1.18 screwed up my video it was still connected, just with a lagging, pixelated, unusable video image.I just downgraded to 4.1.15 and still same issue with no camera signal. Says disconnected.![]()

Thing is it works fine on my Sony mobile but my Samsung is a no go. I heard that Dji are not supporting it anymore? Madness. If Go 4 says disconnected, I suspect the cable or its connection. When 4.1.18 screwed up my video it was still connected, just with a lagging, pixelated, unusable video image.
I can confirm, 4.1.18 has made my Sony Experia XZ unusable as a screen. You will need to download Go 4 for the Mavic. Download the latest version, follow the setup instructions, and see how it works. Previously I could disable 'Cache to device' & set the phone to Airplane Mode and get stable vision.
Since the update, it's unusable.
The user experience with DJI has not been good since day one.

It's the app that us defective, & I'm not comfortable with disabling the security features of my phone to upload an old version from a third party site.Find instructions here: How to rollback Mavic firmware
