Which would you rather have, CrystalSky or DJI Goggles?

Please help, new to pro drone. Isn't having the goggles and the smart controller redundant? I do not comprehend why both are necessary. Don't they both allow you to see and steer the magic 2 pro? Please help,n debating on changing my order. I have the goggles in route now.

The goggles are fun, nice to let other people go along for the ride. Mine sit in the case and never get used. I don't care for the smart controller because I don't want to be stuck with an android, so I have a Ipad mini 4 and a 7.8 Crystalsky.

Definitely love my crystal sky, and it is more compact than the goggles.
