Why Can't I post This?

What is it a video.

No just a raw photo.
I really don’t know with a photo. Have had some that where to big but not seen that before.

Someone will chime in and tell us .

Because .dng is not an allowed extension.
.dng files only make sense if you have a program that's able to read them.
Save it as a .jpg and post it.
If you really, really want to allow members to look at your dng file, upload to Dropbox or similar and post a link.

Dumb question, if I change it to a jpg will it still be in raw form so others can edit it? That was my intent.

if you just change the extension to jpg, no-one will be able to read it.
Save the image as a jpg file and you can post it.
It won't be raw but it will look just the same as your raw file does.

If you convert it to JPEG and then post it, then it will be an 8-bit compressed image file, rather than a 16-bit RAW file. So no - it will not be the same as the original.

If you simply change the extension to JPEG and then post it, then it will not appear as an image and will not be useable without first downloading it and changing the extension back to DNG. But it will be the original file.
