I have just travelled to the UK from Australia and I carried my Mavic in the bag in the fly-more pack so it was well protected and not mis-handled or bumped. I went to fly the drone a couple of days after arriving and spun up the blades before taking off. I could hear a faint 'hunting' of the RPM but didn't think too much of it until I took off.

The RPM was erratic and to add to this the drone was also quickly yawing from left to right continuously - probably through about 30 degrees each way. Any stick inputs forward or back were useless due to the multiple directions.

Descend was OK and I landed with no problem. It performed the usual pause before landing but was still yawing back and forth.

I had a good GPS lock and everything else appeared normal.

Any advice? I was think maybe a software reset - but I don't know how to go about that.

I take it you performed a Compass calibration and checked the IMU status. Could it of been because you flew in one hemisphere and then from the opposite side causing the compass to get confused?
