What happened? No HDR viewing option showing? Bad quality? Have you met all the requirements for uploading HDR video?

I'm still not working with HDR, but love to watch the videos.

Mavic Air 2 doesn’t really record HDR video. Its just a software trick to bring out more details. HDR is 10 bit or higher. MA2 only records in 8 bit. It’s a marketing gimmick and misleading to call it “HDR”.

there is 8-bit HDR, but the MA2 doesn't do that either. MA2(to the best of my knowledge) does not generate a standard HDR video or embed any of the required metadata for your tv to properly display true HDR video. It is possible that some of decent software could process the video and generate proper HDR metadata.

YouTube doesn’t recognize 8 bit as being “HDR.“. Also none of the popular HDR standards use 8 bit. HLG, HDR10, and Dolby Vision are all 10 bit or higher.

8 bit video can never be HDR, as there is no accepted standard for it. You can produce a 10 bit version in post processing to an accepted HDR standard. However, you cannot view it or adjust it on any inexpensive computer monitor, as they have are mostly SDR. A good HDR computer monitor costs around $10,000 for a cheap one.

Good cinematography and good editing will produce far better results than fussing with HDR.
