zoom and resolution do not appear in the menu and on the screen...

Good evening, Team.

I need some help... I've tried everything and I don't know what to do.

I've noticed for a while now that when flying my Mavic Air 2 drone, the Zoom option doesn't appear on the screen, not even via the controller (Func+Scrool). Another thing I've noticed is that the resolutions don't appear in the photo and video selection options either.

I have the most up-to-date DJI Fly possible, with the latest firmware 01.01.06.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Have you also updated the drone FW?
As I recall, though, no digital zoom unless in Video mode.

Hi Brother,

So... it does have digital zoom, as seen in several videos... however, about two years ago, I hacked it to release the altitude and FCC... but I updated it again to the latest version, and there shouldn't have been any problems... unless something was recorded or blocked with the hacked version... which I don't think would have anything to do with it...

The attached photo shows an image of it before with Zoom enabled.

I don't see anything on the screen to show video zoom being used, but from the video I linked, it clearly should have that capability. Usually there is a digital zoom number that should be displayed somewhere on the screen.

However, once you hack FW, all bets are off as to the potential repercussions when you try to update on top of hacked FW with a normal DJI update. It's an odd consequence, but a possibility.

They might have had a problem with the registration, or there might have been some kind of conflict between the controller and the aircraft with this hack...

Well, I opened a support ticket with DJI to see if there's a downgrade solution or something like that... because the drone flies perfectly... it just doesn't have zoom, and I can't select the video and photo resolution quality.

Good luck. The zoom is all digital anyway, so easily done in post.
