WOW JUST WOW

That's one of my FAV FPV videos I've seen. That kid has SKILLZ!

Here's a list of his equipment:

Setup
Avantquad Soko 5"
Dinogy Ultra 1800mah 6s 65c
Foxeer Predator v3 (https://goo.gl/W3Nmki)
ImmersionRC Tramp HV (https://goo.gl/Wr6qN5)
Azure JohnnyFPV Props (http://tiny.cc/pil5az)
Hobbywing Xrotor 2306 race pro 1600kv
Airbot Furling 35A 4in1 (http://tiny.cc/zkl5az)
Crossfire nano rx (http://tiny.cc/bkbj9y)
Airbot Omnibus F4 V6 (https://goo.gl/kNpdox)
GoPro Hero 6

Video:
Fatshark HDO with IRC Rapidfire
Foxeer Echo Patch
Foxeer Lollipop Omni
Crossfire TX with diamond antenna @ 100mw
Technical question.....how does the drone manage to keep connectivity to the RC when it is between rock outcroppings and behind ridges? Having read in these forums about so many losses of signal, I am curious how the pilot in the OP video maintains a signal connection.

So this is a small, fully custom racing drone? I clicked the specs, but don't see goggles, which I'm guessing were used? (i'm just a noob w a stock M2 Pro) Completely inspiring video! But after already crashing my M2P, I'll need some massive flight time to attain any piloting confidence.
FATSHARK ?

The scripting was perfect

Was probably flown dozens or more times with great care, and every little nook and cranny of the terrain known.

Still very risky on the aircraft, but one thing I’ve noticed in these fpv vids . . . It always amazes me when they do have a crash they seem a lot more resilient than DJI equipment.

I figured he speeded up the film. If that’s real time, well l da-am!

They aren't using "normal" gear. They are using some pretty awesome gear.

Completely spectacular! I am amazed at the pilots skill. Love it on the big screen TV, can feel the dives and turns.

Now I've GOT to watch it on the TV.... Thanks a lot LOL!!

The video is amazing for sure. I started with my Mavic Air and since have moved into FPV drones. I doubt the video is sped up though. I also think flying acro has changed the way I fly my MA now. I dont :( FPV really is an amazing way and for me the only way to fly now. (FPV as in using goggles not a tablet or phone.) The comunity is a little different too. People help each other out with builds because a lot of times there is no manual or "just google it" like you have here for the most part. Always a challenge :) I sure would love some of those DJI new FPV goggles though!

Amazing, but I admit I was super stressed out for much of it. So many close sweeps with the rocks, I was wondering if the word "fall" in the video title portended drone disaster.

Same here - I thought the word 'Fall' meant a fall from the top, leading to a roller-coaster bit of video of the trip down! Was certainly glad that that wasn't the case!
