Mini Please help me figure out what drone took this photo...

Farther away, not further. Farther is used to describe actual, measurable, physical distances. Further is used to describe metaphysical distance; example: a college education will take you further in your career, than just a high school education. I hope that this helps.

How To Handle a "No Drones Allowed" Claim

Personally, I would also take the I didn't know approach, but I would take it further. I would say that i had looked to see if it was prohibited, and saw no prohibitions. Then, as friendly as you can, ask them where they saw that prohibition, so that you may be better informed. Just my 2 cents...

Law Officer Claims My TRUST DOCUMENT Fake?

I read the rules before I took the TRUST training. They stated that everyone, including part 107 pilots need the TRUST certificate.

Law Officer Claims My TRUST DOCUMENT Fake?

    Bird Strike Survived

Hi I'm glad that both the bird and your drone survived the encounter. I once flew in a park, too close to some trees, during nesting season. Several birds came up to harass me. I avoided them, mainly by climbing, but also by jerky movements, up and down. I was trying to make my drone's path...

Neighbor Flying Drone Over My house

If he is flying at a low enough altitude, I would string some fishing line between some of the mangroves, and lead his drone to the trap. If he crashes into something he can't see, then that is on him. B

Captured unusual activity with my drone

My guess is that he is a store employee, taking merchandise out the back door. Then he stashes it during his break or lunch time and goes back for it after work. A quick check of the closest Lowes store, for which employee drives a car that matches that description, should quickly identify the...

    Drone caught in grass.

Can you recommend a good prop wash? Mine are getting pretty dirty. And while you're at it, do you know what is the best brand of blinker fluid?

    First real RTH

Yes, set the RTH altitude higher than ANYTHING nearby: buildings, trees, hills, whatever. If obstacle avoidance is turned on, and works correctly, your drone will stop b4 hitting the building, but there are further settings to tell it what to do: back up, go around, etc. Frequently, obstacle...

    Fines issued!

It's just a little north of Primbee. Don't you have GoogleMaps?

    Plane hits drone in Oregon

I find it curious that this 'incident' happened over a year ago, and is only now being reported. Methinks the pilot is hiding something.
