Live PD anyone see it last night? Guy looking for his drone was shot in Fla !

Aside from your inability to read, it took me 15 seconds to "prove a negative". If you're thinking you need to prove a negative, you don't possess the logic necessary to discuss law. BTW, your question also fails basic logic, because my response is "I'm not married".

I'm going to respond to you in exactly the manner you did to zorr0, and exactly the way I did in my OP: Do some research. You're not suffering from some infirmity that prevents you from doing your own research.

Flying 1000m / 3000ft above Shanghai with landing on building

Great video! All "violations" aside (LOL!), I can't believe the wind was that calm, even at altitude! Would be awesome to see that on a clear day!

Please do some research before asking others to do research. There are certain circumstances where it is justifiable to use deadly force in the defense of property. Pro Tip: Making blanket statements (using words like "no one", "nowhere", and "no case") is usually not a good tactic in a debate.

i found a mavic on a hike in los angeles

"A good reminder to put your phone number and email address on your drone. If this owner had done that he/she might have her drone back by now." FTFY

Actually, his original post said nothing about finding the owner, it was simply an offer to sell the drone. Kind of a bummer that some people feel the need to treat everything as a possible payday.

Drone taken away by police in US?

This is incorrect. Any item "seized and submitted for safekeeping" is released to the owner when they are released from custody or immediately thereafter (e.g. if released on a weekend, the owner might have to wait until the next business day if the department where it was being stored is not...

    Ocean Crash - Resolved

Yup, thanks. Just added it. TBH, I fly mostly in sport mode unless I'm on a mission.

    Ocean Crash - Resolved

So, to sum it up, when flying into a headwind there are 3 changes the pilot should make. They are, in order: 1) sport mode! 2) change altitude to see if you can find calmer air 3) "tack" left and right instead of flying straight into the wind if you can't find calmer air 4) realize tacking will...

    ALASKA - The Last Frontier

My only critique is wrt the transitions. They're fine on a monitor, but when I throw the video up to the big screen, they're very disorienting. You could either use a different style transition, or slow down the transition itself and it would be ok. Other than that, it was very well done and...

Fly Mavic , 700 m distance from home over road factory

He's in Indonesia, their laws may be different from ours. :) OP, What building is that you're flying around at he end?

    New to be Mavic owner

Yep. The ESC is different also, further reducing the noise level slightly and slightly increasing flight time. MP is rated for 27 minutes, MPP is rated for 30.

    Another irresponsible UAS Pilot

Ok  I wasn't sure, as you said "Lets add sticks to the list of things that need banning", and the correct response to my reply (with my skewed sense of humor) would have been "Lets add aircraft to the list of things that need banning". After all, we wouldn't want any nuisances like an...
