Minor clip of a tree limb and fall into grassy area from about 15 feet high. Flies fine, no visible damage but one of the rear legs will not fold up. Moves about 10% of the way towards storage position then just stops. Tried loosening what screws I can and no change in range of leg motion...
I often fly at 7000+’ around Park City, Utah. But all of the ski resorts in the area ban drones. They don’t control the airspace but can control where you operate from. Also watch out for National Parks and Forest.
I think you are not thinking that maybe everyone can’t afford an expensive drone or needs professional level photos and video. Some of us just want to have fun flying and getting some good photos/video for personal use
Blows my mind some expect Mavic Pro features in a $399 drone? It is what it is, a relatively inexpensive drone with some features that is either entry level, if that is where you are, or a compact drone for easy take with usage for always carry or for convenient travel.
Really Cool! We spend some time in the area. I had no idea about it plus hadn’t thought about that the Great Salt Lake would make for some really interesting drone shots.
Further research and taking into consideration the comments here I think the Tello is a better choice as it is well under the 750g limit requiring registration/license. Keeping it simple as I am really there to snow ski!
