    Bird Strikes Mavic vs Phantom

I had some birds take a close look at my Inspire 2. I a running carbon fiber blades so that would be an interesting confrontation of blade and bone. However, I too went into sports mode and took off at about 100 kph and left them in the wind.

A very useful easy 3 step technique to getting your Mavic footage to look polished and filmic

I know this will sound insane but make sure you are using a better cable between your card reader and the MBP. I was having disconnects and then switched cables. No more problems.

Could be the data buss on the laptop is not as wide as on the iMac. The iMac may have more throughput which helps to speed things up. Also the amount of ram plays an important part. My iMac 5K just munches on video and rendering where is my new MBP takes a bit longer. To be expected I guess. I...

Exactly. I am a photographer which led me to buy an Inspire 2 as well. When I really want GREAT footage, I go with the I2, but for putzing around the Mavic is okay. However, I still process my images and videos the best way possible regardless of the platform.

No one is asking you to. If you are fine with the way your videos look then be happy with it.

Spot on Shawn. People want something for nothing now a days. If you want good video, you have to put in the time to get it the way you want or then don't but you don't get to complain about it.

It's not that hard and most likely done with video editing software as opposed to Photoshop. If you are using a Mac, you can use iMovie to produce the exact same video quality and cinematic effects. Similarly on a Mac, there is Final Cut Pro X (use this as well as iMovie) which is a bit more...

iPad Mini 4 Arrived. Where's the HDMI output?

Also, if you buy the DJI Goggles, it connects wireless to the Mavic so no cables needed. I wish I had the option to do this with my Inspire 2, but I will have to use the supplied cable that came with the Goggles.

I Think I've Officially Maxed Out On Accessories!

Nice gear. I have no intention of buying anywhere nearly as much as you have, but life is short so eat dessert first. I may look for a few more goodies for my Inspire 2 but I doubt it. I try to get up in the air as soon as possible and fly rather than installing and configuring stuff. Have fun.

Travel with the Mavic: My experience and some tips.

I just came from HEL (yes, that is the designation for Helsinki, Finland) and they could not care less about drones. It is the batteries that they cared about. I had to show them all three and once that, they were good to go. When leaving to return via JFK, they too asked about the batteries. I...

    DJI Assistant - Verification Code

If you are using a Mac, sometimes the OS does not let the CAPTCHA code appear. Put in any random code. Let it say that the code doesn't work and then the next code appears.
