The Mavic is hard to spot in the sky, more so than other drones. I think the most important thing is that the rider(s) know you have a drone out around them. If its busy, stay out of the launch area and find a spot upwind away from the crowd to film. Safer for the drone and safer for the riders...

Looks like a sweet spot. I take it West works best for that launch and ride over to the island? I'll have to hit you up when a good day looks to be on the radar.

Ha! Crazy, few of the guys I kite with regularly with showed me this video. We where planning on trying it out sometime. I might pick your brain about it sometime later in the year. Nice video.

Apple.ca showing 8-10 weeks for shipping and after HST is over $200 more than I paid going with DJI directly. I can wait. Ordered Oct 25 so fingers crossed I get an update soon.

Anyone using Mi4 or Mi5 phones? Turns out the SGS6 is still stupid $$ for specs 2 years out of date. I just can't support that kind of greed.

New to DJI and waiting for my Mavic Pro. The folks using the S7 or S6, what updates are you currently on? Seems the S7 reboots are related to the Sept / Oct Samsung update. Going to grab an S6 from my carrier on the cheap and hope it works fine. Still using my old Nexus 4 (it just won't die).
