Where do you fit the iPad? Is there a compartment in the cover?

Do you think I can modify the foam enough to accommodate an iPad mini 4?

I like this case but before I order it do you or does anyone know if I can fit my iPad mini 4 in the slot the phone usually fits in. I realize I may have to open it a bit.

I think this is a great ideal. I don't have a truck but can lay out the landing pad next to my door. Temp where I am was in the high 30s this morning and I never thought of flying but certainly will in the future.
