Screen mirroring to another Android phone (for FPV)

Use Zoom and share your screen. I share my screen with our kids in other states. Works very well if I have a good internet connection.

using a phone on DJI Mini

The GPS signal comes from satellites not the cell towers.

using a phone on DJI Mini

Since I sometimes use Zoom to share my flight with others I do not use airplane mode. Never had any problems.

    Directional arrow on screen

It is a software bug. The earlier versions of the fly app did not do this. Now both the direction from me and the direction the drone is facing are both unstable and incorrect on this compass. To bring my drone home I bring up the map and point the drone toward me, return to the camera view...

Lesson Learned - How to NOT catch your drone

I have a Mavic Mini with props very close to the ground so I almost always hand launch and land. A few days ago I hand launched it and my drone started up then dropped a a little catching my thumb with a prop. I had never seen it drop like this before. Had a minor cut on my thumb but the...

    Needs help with calibration

I have the same problem and it started with the last software and firmware update. I have calibrated the drone's compass and IMU. After reading these responses I calibrated my phone's compass. Nothing has made any difference.

DJI Fly on Windows 10? YES! With a little work around.

I would only be guessing if I answered this. I was showing my wife how Zoom worked and noticed the share button so I grabbed the drone and put it up in the air. I did not notice any difference in how the drone performed and even when sharing my desktop my wife and we could talk to each other...

DJI Fly on Windows 10? YES! With a little work around.

Yes, I fly my drone using my Moto x4 and the screen of my x4 is shared with everyone that is part of the Zoom meeting. I can actually share what I'm seeing from my drone while everyone stays home.

DJI Fly on Windows 10? YES! With a little work around.

Zoom allows one to share the desktop with everyone in the meeting so I have started Zoom, then shared my desktop before launching my drone. Everyone in the meeting can then see exactly what I'm seeing on my phone. Zoom works with Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome and Android.

    Flying during Covid 19

Hopefully you don't think the virus would be stopped if everyone followed your interpretation of a poorly written, vague regulation. Yes I still fly my drone and if I am not near other people that will not spread the Corona virus. I also hike with friends typically between 5 and 10 miles. We...

    Proper procedure for Blow-Away event

I like your solution much better than mine but I don't seem to have that option. Mavic Mini using the Fly app.

    Proper procedure for Blow-Away event

Or if you have internet access and use an Android phone the flight log can be immmediatly converted. I use the app Back Country Navigator for this. I can also use this app to get me to the last known location. I prefer navigating with my hiking gps which is why I need a gpx file but KLM will...

    Mavic mini wifi signal indicator

I have gotten the weak signal warning when I still had a good video link and the signal indicator showed full strength. The weak signal warning was just momentary. I rotated so the controller was properly facing the drone and everything was fine.

Mavic Mini non precision landings (RTH)

I was out about 150 feet away and 50-75 feet high when I initiated the RTH. The RTH elevation was set to 150 feet and it rose to that elevation on every flight back.
