On cloudy days I move camera down to where upper 1/5 is sky, helps brighten the landscape, for me anyway :)

Not long ago when reviewing an MA2 video, out approx 6000 ft. I had flown between the two outside wires of a 3 wire per side cell tower support....scary!

I still fly my old P3S in a rotation with my MP, MM2 and MA2, get good quality video at 2.7, always on a sunny day, making sure sun is no more than 45 deg angle around behind drone.

I have both, I still can't get over how well the Mini 2 performs high up and far out...

I ordered them but they didn't fit the MM2/MA2, but slipped down over the MPro antennae, with the parabolic receptors I see another 1500 ft. distance...

I do the same with HP computers, can get them for a fraction of the cost of a new one, have never got a bad one yet.

Yep, that's what I do, the maps are invaluable. :)

Although not to be intimidated by operation of the craft, don't take any chances where you're not sure of the outcome.

I have an iPhone 6S Plus, notice the GO FLY app really drains the phone faster than the GO and GO 4 apps ...

Good question, if you fly from one location all the time, you soon grow weary of seeing the same landscape again and again. Flying out and watching your battery gives an extra dimension to your drone experience, especially to seeing landscape you've never seen from 200+ altitude. :)

Flew my Mini 2 yesterday in near perfect conditions, got to 12,000 ft when decided to come home for battery considerations, got home with 6% left. Also flew in sport mode entire time, I think sport mode takes more battery.

Turn off RTH, bring up map and follow outward track back home ...
