    UK CE to FCC working

I've measured the RF transmission power from the controller (right antenna): 0-1 dBm in CE and 7-10 dBm in FCC

    UK CE to FCC working

It is the paid tweak but I found and downloaded it from a Chinese site. Search for "Mod DJI Fly 1.1.0"

    UK CE to FCC working

Switching between hacked and stock app! Look at the drone’s transmission power increasing about 12 dBm

    UK CE to FCC working

Right... this is with the stock iOS app. The hacked app succesfully gets it in FCC mode!

    UK CE to FCC working

I think you don't have to rely on what iOS app transmission tab shows. Test the RF power with a meter, instead! This is the one I use: https://www.immersionrc.com/fpv-products/rfpwrv2/

    UK CE to FCC working

I think the question is that iOS maintains the FCC transmission level ONLY in the app tab. Unfortunately in the real world (you have to check with a RF meter) the level comes back to CE as soon as the drone locks to the GPS

    UK CE to FCC working

Evidently the "switch" is in the app and not in the drone. Anyway, you can remain in FCC mode if you cover the GPS antenna of the drone (with aluminim foil, for example) even if your phone is on line (Geo-IP) and locked to GPS. But, if you uncover the antenna, after about 1 minute the...

    UK CE to FCC working

This is not the point: You can even fly without the phone. But, as soon as the bird locks to the GPS, it changes its RF power emission to CE mode. Finally, if you want to remain in FCC mode you have to fly indoor!

    OK!

    UK CE to FCC working

I have done some test with the “ImmersionRC" RF power meter. I have measured about 14 dBm in FCC mode and about 3 dBm in CE mode (RF emission power checked on the front left pod of the bird) Bad news: when you spoof the location, even if the transmission tab says -87 dBm (FCC mode), after the...

mavic 2 pro remote : external antenna and battery mod

Interesting... nice job! Two questions: 1. The remote controller 5D button of Mavic 2 seems to be glued to the switch. How did you tear it off without damaging the micro switch? 2. Looking to the pictures it seems that you modded the stock antenna installing a RP-SMA male on it. How you did it...

    Mavic 2 parameters

A quadricopter is not an airplane! Horizontal speed is controlled just by tilt, no other parameter. The problem is that tilt cause a bigger drag so wind's speed matter a lot

FCC mode on Mavic 2 Pro possible?

Is it possible that the seven days trial period has expired? In this case you have to resign (reinstall) the app (every week!) or to join the Apple Developer Program (at about 100$ per year)

If you mean altitude limitation, there’s no way for the M2
