I glued a piece of string to the cover works great

I was doing the same thing on my Mavic Air so now I just leave it off not sure if that will damage it but so far no problems

I'm confused I thought you had to use the side port Micro USB to connect the phone to the remote . I purchased a used MA and the side port is not very good so can i use the bottom port instead ?

I purchased a refurb ONN 8 inch from walmart seem to work fine not sure if it's available new but check at walmart online

I sent mine back because I had 3 android devices and none of them would work with the app and after seeing all these post I'm glad I did . I just purchased a Mavic Air kit on ebay $650 can't wait to get it .

I just sent mine back it's winter and it will be months before I can fly it by then it will be too late to send it back. If it would of worked with my android phone or tablet I might not of sent it back. I'm going to buy another one when they have all the kinks worked out.
