A friend of mine just purchased a Mav2 Air. He claims his drone allows him to fly in what my apps show is restricted airspace. He claims the new DJI Mav2 apps will not allow him to fly if it's a restricted zone. I own the first Mavic and therefore do not use the same software. Can someone please...
I feel the exact same way. I don't have trust and hate to lose the drone due to cost, etc.
I have some great wooded areas near me that I would love to flyover, but I've read reports about losing drone contact due to the trees so I'm very apprehensive about flying over them. Can anyone tell me...
Is there a way to focus the daily email I receive regarding yesterday's comments so it only includes major topics I'm interested in? No offense to all the excited Mini owners, but I do not own one and do not care about your questions. So please, this is not meant to be a jab at any of you!
Thank you @globetrotterdrone and @msinger ! This was very helpful.
I have one final question now. How do I fully discharge a battery every 3 months before fully recharging it? Is there any way to do it besides powering up the drone and letting it run until the battery is discharged?
In many threads I've read you should keep your batteries at about a 65% charge if you're not going to use your drone for awhile. I get that. However, and I'm sad to say this but, due to my home and work situation I'm not able to get out and use my drone much. I believe it's been 2 months since...
I live in Champlin; NW suburb of Minneapolis. I'm a very inexperienced MP pilot. My schedule doesn't allow me to get out often so I only have a few flights under my belt. That said, I'd be willing to see if we can set something up. I'm a pro photographer so I could at least help you with that.
I just bought the Tello with a controller. Yes you need a phone to work it, but for the money - $150 for all - I love it! I also have a MP but up here in the cold country I don't get out as much as others in the south. Since I was new to drones and wasn't a gamer I decided to get something...
Yes. I figured out the problem. I read in the Android setup for the controller that the first time you use the controller you should push the home and A buttons at the same time. This made it so I could enable bluetooth. I haven't had time to try it beyond that but at least I have that done now...
