Are you using the stock cable, from the RC to the phone ? I had a similar problem and replaced the OE cable with a different one, done many many flights since with no issues after that.

It is very flimsy I agree but I did have the Mavic drop out the sky and hit the ground from 15m up and the gimbal was fine still, so it must be a little tougher than it looks and feels. Adding/ removing ND filters still make me cringe pushing against the poor little camera

Can you move the Mavic whilst in this mode and it still function? Have never tried

I don't think you can in DJI go, but you can using the Litchi app. Not sure if I understand what you have asked for, this won't be on a moving target, but you can keep a subject centered on Litchi while you move it.

Try turning off your video caching on DJI go, that will reduce some of the processing power needed

I have had the Mavic almost a year and in the last 6 months it's non stop app crashes / RC disconnects and gimbal resets. It's really distanced me from loving it and I just use it as a film tool not a fun flier anymore. even that it doesn't do well as I have the out of focus right side...

I'm not sure of this myself but I generally use the histogram instead of EV to make sure I am not blowing out highlights or crushing blacks by keeping the pixel count in the mid to right side of the histogram if possible. Can anyone confirm if this a good way to judge exposure ?

I think it's worth the purchase. Waypoints is a fun feature and can make some nice autonomous camera/movements that no pilot could recreate. Point of interest can also give some nice shots in a way DJI doesn't. I have a lot of disconnects in DJI go and zero with litchi, which is more than...
