3D-printed Mini 3 Pro extension legs (clipon)

There's a link in the first post in this thread which will take you to a website called Cults3D. The link takes you directly to these extension legs, where the files can be purchased. As for getting yourself a printer, some models are actually quite small (for example this one), and don't...

3D-printed Mini 3 Pro extension legs (clipon)

Sorry, but I think you'll be better off finding someone that has a 3D-printer. Maybe there's a makerspace local to you? And also, overseas shipping is way too expensive for something as cheap as this.

3D-printed Mini 3 Pro extension legs (clipon)

He has stayed here, and he also chose to obey the forum rules and he is now posting in English, so all is good.

3D-printed Mini 3 Pro extension legs (clipon)

The folding is a bit different (with the Mini 3 you can fold in whichever order you please), but there is no reason to think that the arms are less sturdy because of that (in my opinion). The arms are designed to carry the weight of the drone and then some (during flight, there will be more...

    Flight data unavailable

And just to wrap this one up, with enough patience, the RC does in fact load the flights (in my case 82 of them). It just takes a very long time. On the phone it takes no time at all, but even if the hardware in the RC is way less powerful, it should not take this long, in my opinion.

    Flight data unavailable

This one mostly resolved itself after I copied the flight logs to the SD card to get them over to my computer. Not sure why, but afterwards the RC did show the summary of my flights. Clicking "more" to see all the flights still don't work, though. It just hangs on "Loading". Maybe it will...

    Flight data unavailable

I've just updated my Mini 3 Pro to the latest firmware (as of today), which also bumped the RC firmware. Now it seems that I can't view the flight logs on the RC itself (it just shows N/A), and it also does not update new flights to the DJI servers, as far as I can tell. Anyone else seen this...

    Breathtaking view in Lofoten, Norway

If you enable these layers: Forbudsområder for RPAS, droner og modellfly Forbudsområder fra NSM Verneområder ...you will get some red areas, so make sure to not fly in those.

    Breathtaking view in Lofoten, Norway

I haven't been to the Senja area, so I don't really have much advice. There are some areas where drones are not allowed, so beware. The web page UAS Norway | Safetofly | Asplan Viak is a good resource, but it isn't completely translated to English, so you need to know the relevant layer names in...

    Breathtaking view in Lofoten, Norway

There are stone steps (work done by Sherpas from Tibet) almost all the way up to where I was, and most people will spend something like 45-60 minutes on the stairs alone. Getting to the foot of the stairs is also a walk, and if you start from the center of Reine, I'd guess that's another 20...

    Gimsøy church in Vågan, Lofoten

Yes, it was shot without a ND filter. I have since received a set of Freewell filters, and I will probably use one on most flights going forward. I also could have underexposed to avoid the blown out highlights in some clips, but unfortunately I didn't. Live and learn.

    Gimsøy church in Vågan, Lofoten

Here's another short video that I captured with the DJI Mini 3 Pro when I visited Lofoten earlier this month: You can imagine that with a location like this, the building needs to be well secured, and this is (to the best of my knowledge) the only church in Norway that is secured with...

    Breathtaking view in Lofoten, Norway

Thanks. I was lazy, so this was shot in standard auto and then adjusted a little bit in Davinci Resolve in post.

    Breathtaking view in Lofoten, Norway

Thanks! This was shot on June 9th. I agree it is a bit short, and I do have some more raw material, but it would for the most part reveal the same scene, if you know what I mean. I felt that two "reveals" of the same scene was enough, and that more could be seen as slightly boring. However, I...

    Måtinden in Vesterålen, Norway

I've published another video from my vacation to the north of Norway, and this time it is from a hike to a summit called Måtinden in Vesterålen (a fair bit north of Lofoten). The hike is around 3.8 km (2.36 miles) each way, so it takes some time to walk, but again, the view is rewarding...
