If he threaten you and you have prop damage and said he was going to shoot it down, then I would notify the local police, FAA and FBI. By doing so the matter will be investigated and he will not be threating any other drone operator trying to do things by the law. Just my advice.

You can't buy a license from the FAA, you must take a test for the part 107 REMOTE PILOT.(for all you wanna bees, PILOT).

I strongly disagree with you on being pilots. I know it is a term that people want to use to sound impressive, but calling oneself a pilot does not make you one. As you say, "we have had this discussion many times", still just an operator of a little quad that goes up and always comes down.

If one receives any form of payment, you are required to have a 107 license. This guy is braking the rules and regulations and someone needs to make this person understand that. One cannot buy a sticker and be a commercial pilot. This just not right!
