    Mobile Device CPU Fully Loaded

I get it too on my iPad Mini 4 wifi/cell. Usually pops up when I hotspot it to my phone to pull down the maps. Once they are loaded, I shut off the hotspot. If the warning is still there (usually gone by then) I just touch it to close it and fly. I have never noticed it causing any problem.

    iPad mini GPS question

Welcome to the wonderful world of IOS! Like you, this was my first Apple device. It will also be my last IOS device. From a user standpoint, the popularity of there things is beyond me. My Mini iPad never sees the light of day other than flying although on numerous occasions I have considered...

    iPad mini GPS question

If you have an iPad Mini with cell capability you DO NOT need a cell plan. I have a Mini 4 and use the hotspot from my cell phone to download the maps when on site. Once the maps are downloaded you can shut off the hotspot and everything will function as it should. If you move the remote control...

    Hovering drone attracts birds

Looks to me like a type of swallow. They seem to be very curious and often circle around my Mini if hovering or moving slow. They never seem to threaten but rather just buzz around checking it out.

Penalties and liabilities for flying small commercial jobs w/o Part 107 license?

OK, questions. Situation #1 - I am not a 107 pilot. I am not a realtor. I own my home but decide to sell it myself. I take a photo with my drone and use it in a For Sale advertisement. Is that a violation? Situation #2 - I am not a 107 pilot. I am not a realtor. My mother is selling her home...

Lights on a Mavic Mini for help with orientation?

You might want to wait as I believe Firehouse is coming out soon with a more powerful unit. I have the 4 led strobe for my mini and honestly am disappointed in its daytime visibility.

    New to drone

The prop guards really shouldn't be affecting the battery life that much. With them on I get about 18 minutes flight time rather than the normal 25 or so. I'll be interested to see what you find with them off.

    New to drone

Are you flying with the prop guards installed? If so, they limit distances. Also, DO NOT set the RTH to the max! Set it high enough to clear any nearby obstacles but don't overdo it. If RTH activates the drone may well climb very high only to find the wind up there is more than the Mini can...

Ok, Lets end it all right now.

For my Mavic Mini I have an iPad Mini 4 with cell. It works well. You don't need a data plan as the GPS is active without it so the direction indicator and FMD work fine. At the flight location, I do hotspot it to my phone and then pull the map. I then close the hotspot and go fly. For a time...

    Lenovo Tablet?

Although it is a 64 bit processor, is it running a 64 bit OS? My understanding is some devices although capable still have a 32 bit OS.

Selling MM-How do I get my personal information off?

I didn't think the Mini was registered with the FAA, just the pilot.

Mavic Mini with Firehouse LED strobe and Bracket.

I recently purchased the strobe minus the mount. I had two concerns with it - 1. the venting issue as it did in the photos appear to be very close to the belly vents. 2. difficult to remove. I use the somewhat evil :) Fly More case and it needs to be removed each flight. Hence I designed my own...

Mavic Mini with Firehouse LED strobe and Bracket.

So far so good. I was able to get in one short flight and there were no obvious issues. I was concerned about it being in the "view" of the downward sensor but seems to be fine. It securely attaches but is still fairly easily removable by squeezing the legs. And yea, the power button is totally...
