I have to get over my fear of flying over Lake Erie. I keep thinking it will have the issues some pilots have with falling out of the sky in the middle of a flight. I know it sounds stupid, but almost $1000 on a drone sinking into the water doesn’t sound too good. I’ll get there at some point.

Just asking because I’m still learning. Will flight logs/data show when the sticks on the rc are moved into the ‘emergency’ position which shuts the motors off in flight?

I contacted DJI support Wednesday about the missing advanced gimbal setting in the Fly app. Verge told me he was sending the issue to the engineers to update. When I open the app (not connected to the drone) I see the advanced settings. When I connect the drone they disappear.

I did run into this when I found out I needed a really fast processor to work with h.265 footage. I have used the Sync for DJI iOS app. It supports h.265. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sync-for-dji-go-mobile-first/id1255799480

I did it. DJI basically told me they could say when it would ship or arrive. Thats after chatting up with 2 CSRs. Ordered FlyMore Combo today from Best Buy.

Watch Air Photography’s video. He talks about a tablet at video point 5:13. Also, Aldryn Estacio from FlyPath has a dedicated video to using a tablet with the MA2 controller. Hope this helps.

According to Air Photography’s YouTube video, yes, it can hold a tablet.

I also went with the Tiffen 6-pack. Tiffen has always been instrumental in the camera filter venue for many years.

No problems. Have flown indoors and out x 4 months.
