This is the exact same question I just had. I am going to Italy in the coming days for a week and worried if I update there that it will permanently think my drone is in Italy in terms of the limitations it may impose.

Ireland has fairly common sense drone laws. Switzerland too (but you need mandatory insurance by law)

Amazing that humans can create and innovate with technology like the very drones we use but be so destructive and terrible as the results displayed in the very footage our innovation allows us to film. Quite a sick twisted irony really.
