The DJI cages are quite heavy. I wonder if making those from cf tubes could loose a few grams?

Heads up. My RC Pro updated. Now when flying waypoints if you are in “camera” view you cannot save a flight. The save button only works if you switch the view to the map mode.

Signed it. The current Cine mode is such a step backwards from the control of Tripod for the filming I commonly do.

That’s likely the issue - pretty much no camera can get the white balance of snow in the shade correct - it will always come out towards blue. Snow is also really challenging for any exposure system. Then the WB shifts as your lighting changes giving the footage those color casts. Beautiful...

Did you manually set the white balance and exposure? They look quite different from sun to shade - might be a factor?

I like the RC Pro but there are some fpv options I can set up with a phone that I can’t do with the built in screen. I’ll just get a second basic controller. Thanks.

In After Effects with “content aware fill” it really isn’t that hard to fix. I regularly remove moving objects from video footage. https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/how-to/content-aware-fill-video.html

Your example would be easy to mask out in After Effects using the ‘content aware fill‘ effect If desired. Not ideal obviously, but might be handy if you needed to save a clip.
