i'm betting it has more to do with the operator not having physical sticks. virtual sticks aren't as easy to manipulate in a smooth manner.

B4UFLY and airmap will give you conflicting NFZs. B4UFLY will show you that you're restricted almost everywhere on the peninsula. usually, I just take the drive south past half moon bay to fly. I don't know if that's a possibility for you, hopefully it is. enjoy your stay!

this is very cool. any thoughts on mounting the cylinder vertically so that the parachute shoots straight up instead of rearward? it may help to prevent the strings from tangling in the props or at least lessen the chances. but I don't know how detrimental that would be for balance.
