I'm loaning a friend my Mavic 2 Pro, and wondering, if he changes settings, will those be stored on his phone, or will he be changing my settings in the controller?
Not basic camera settings, but more like drone prefs.
I have and iPhone 12 Pro Max that is nice and bright but too small for my aging eyes. I'm looking at a tablet that's significantly less bright (roughly 450 nits) but larger (8-10"). Has anyone gone to a less bright tablet and still considered it a good upgrade?
I recently got a new phone that is 6.6 inches (167mm) however, I read that the maximum phone size is 160 mm. Will it still fit in the Mini SE controller?
The Asus ROG 5 Phone with 2 USB-C ports works with BT-40 Glasses!!! These phones are rare but managed to acquire a new one and I’m glad to report that both ports work!!! I really wanted to make this work with the Standard DJI Controller as a lot of people have found that they could get a...
I know, I know. This subject has been discussed 1000000x times. But at this point I would welcome any 1st hand experience/feedback on a phone upgrade compatible with my Mavic Air 2.
The following parameters/notes should ideally help with your reply, as my goal is to purchase a phone that works...
Just wanted to share an experience I recently had with my Mavic Air 2 during an unplanned rainstorm, and a problem that developed between my phone and controller.
While out flying it started raining. In the process of finishing up and getting the drone back I got fairly wet. As a result, my...
My Mavic Air 2 got delivered yesterday. However, when I connect my phone to the controller, the phone doesn't recognize that the controller is connected. I have attached the controller and drone to my computer and updated the firmware on both. I also have tried connecting to the controller with...
So , I have a Samsung S8 which is perfect for me day to day . But I find it a bit too small really with the Fly app.
I could go buy a small tablet (IPad mini etc) but that feels a bit too big for my liking .
I could swap my phone for something bigger but tbh that wouldn’t be any good day to...
Hi,
I have a Samsung Note 9 that I use to fly my Mavic 2 Zoom with but I'm having problems with the screen.
After around 20 minutes of flying my drone, the brightness of the screen on my Note 9 starts to get so dim I can hardly see what's on the screen.
So I want to sell my Note 9 and buy a new...
Hi,
I'm having problems with the video on my phone screen being very washed out like as if there is a lot of contrast.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and my DJI Mavic 2 Zoom camera setting is set to auto and the white balance is set to sunny when it's sunny and cloudy when it's cloudy.
The...
Hi All.
Im new to the Mavic Air but I had a Phantom 3 Pro for 2 years so Im not new to Dji drones. I move to de Air because the P3P was too big to take it everywhere.
Yesterday I receive my new Mavic Air but I have issues with the connection to my LG G6 phone (my main phone). Looks like the...
Dear folks,
Please help me to resolve this problem...
The RC shows "Charging" once connect RC and my Android cell phone...
The DJI Go won't auto-launch anymore....
After I power on the aircraft and RC, and manually turn on Dji Go, it still shows "disconnected"
I have been using my Mavic...
Anyone have the LG G7? Thinking of upgrading my LG G6 for that super bright screen... 700 nits, can spike to 1000 nits for 3 minutes....
My LG G6 screen cracked, so I either need to repair it, or just put that cheddar towards a new phone.
Does anyone know how to stop a smart phone from discharging the remote's battery when connected. Using an LG G5 with Android 7.0. MPP firmware is current. I've tried every USB connection option on the phone but it always defaults back to "charge" and drains the remote.
IAfter struggling through some 130 flights and a couple of very close calls, I finally got myself a decent device for the DJI GO 4 app.
When I bought the Mavic Pro I made a false economy by purchasing a "BLU" mobile phone for the flight display and app. It proved to be completely unsuitable...
Hi Guys
Does anyone want to suggest the cheapest phone or tablet with best battery life to use with controller for Mavic Pro available in the UK?
My iPhone SE from near fully charged lasted only about 15 minutes today.
Maybe I had the screen up too bright, maybe the batteries going who knows...
Hi guys,
I´m about to buy a new phone for my Mavic, cause my old Samsung A3 does not work with it. I was thinking about Huawei P10+ or OnePlus 5T or just 5. Each has a good 6GB RAM (or even 8GB with the OnePlus) which I think should be enough..but I´m really scared it won´t work with the drone...
I thought I would contribute my experiences with using my Motorola G4 Plus phone with the Mavic Pro, using both DJI GO 4 and Litchi.
I've had the Mavic Pro for about 8 months. Initially DJI GO 4 would constantly crash, so I changed to Litchi, which appeared stable and fast. I kept up to date...
So this may seem strange, and I am not sure if it could cause an issue with drones but it just might.
I have had my Google Pixel for a year now and just today realized it also needs to be calibrated. While the location always showed up just fine, the direction it was facing would sometimes be...
Hi everyone,
I've been using my iPhone 6s when I'm flying the Mavic Pro and I'm curious if it makes a huge difference to use a tablet that has a larger screen. What do you think? Is it really worth it to get a tablet? Any words of advice, previous experiences are appreciated.
Make it a great...
