Howdy All,
Just joined this group.
First, it took me forever to get my GO4 app and firmware updated, very slow internet here. I am still not sure if I done it correctly and not sure if all 3 of my flight batteries have been updated.
Secondly, anyone else not able to access all flight modes i.e. Tripod or Sports mode?
I get the message stating I need to turn on the feature in the main controller menu. I go to that menu and everything appears to done correctly to include beginners mode turned off. Still no luck.
I pretty rusty on accessing DJI menus plus I am afraid to change anything cause I won't remember what menu or where to go back to in order to change it back if I messed up.

Ok, so it sounds like the update worked. The update turns off your multiple flight modes and you have to switch this on again in the Go 4 App. It also resets a bunch of other stuff, so go through carefully and put all your settings back!

The same happened to me

Thanks for you reply.
As usual, as soon I posted my question I managed to figure out my issue. Now to test it to make sure.
Now, the batteries, how would I know if they are all updated? Will a message pop up stating update firmware again? DJI tutorial just says to do the update. Do I have to go thru all the mess I went thru before or use DJI Asst2 on the computer?
That is where I am getting confused.

You need to run Assistant 2 and run the firmware update for each battery. Just place each battery in the AC and see what Assistant 2 says.

Thanks for your guidance. Everything up and running except now the side sensors are not picking up anything in Tripod mode. Time to calibrate the sensors I think.

No. Once the aircraft is updated when putting another battery in the app will tell you to start the update, and that way no new download is needed unlike with assistant, better way to do it for someone with a bad internet connection.

Ok, thanks. I have ran all 3 batteries with no message now so I think I am good to go now.
