Hello, I have been using the dongle for 2 days. Today the signal is weak and it is 1 tooth. Why did this happen? It does not increase or decrease at all, I tried with another sim card, the problem is the same. I last flew yesterday. My device is Mavic 3, the latest version is installed, dH fcc is available.

could it be that, it is due to the gsm operator's network coverage in that area? did you have the flights at the same location? at the same height?

There is no problem with GSM. I tried with another GSM. It works one day. It is broken the other day.

Do you use hack for FCC?

Yes I guess FCC is blocking it, I will cancel it tomorrow.

So what exactly is the workaround to avoid the region check blocking 4G?
Do you first turn on the drone without FCC, letting it region check while setting the HP, and then turn on FCC, which allows you to fly for 30 minutes, before it disables the 4G?

Basically, you can't boot up with FCC already enabled.
You must enable it only after the HP has been set, which gives you 30 minutes of use.

Rinse and repeat.

Is that about right?

I have to connect it to the computer constantly because fcc is done on the device.

It won't disable 4g after 30 minutes of flight. It will disable 4g only if you switch off your drone for more than 30 minutes. That gives you plenty of time to change battery and fly again. Basically you can fly whole day with 4G. You missed the point, drone will not check your region every 30 minutes. It will check the region only if you lett it off for more than 30 minutes.

Thanks for clarifying the 30 minute issue.
However, it still isn't clear to me how you avoid the region check at start up.
Please clarify your initial process from the time you arrive at your location until taking off. Thanks!

When you arrive, and switch on your drone, your FCC is off. Your drone will immediately check your region. In my case, I am in Europe. Since it's Europe, my enhanced transmission starts to work (FCC is still off). Then you change your drones name to DH FCC ON and reboot. After reboot you have FCC & Enhanced transmissiin at the same time. This pair will stay together untill you switch off your drone for MORE THAN 30 MINUTES. If you use it for the whole day, and avoid switching it off for more than 30 minutes, everything will be fine.

Excellent! Thank you. I know others will now be able to benefit from your detailed explanation that was missing from your earlier posts.

Just wish there was some way to fool the GPS into enabling the 4G dongle in the U.S! LOL!
