But one of the biggest things is you are restricted to a actual connection to your Controller. So if you go behinds trees, house, castle whatever during a bit of the mission..it aborts and returns to home.

Worth remembering that truly autonomous missions, where the mission continues when there is no connection between the RC and the drone, are illegal in many countries without a special waiver. Also, if the drone is behind an obstruction, you lose VLOS which is, again, a legal requirement in most countries.
