A stupid sounding question, reading a pdf manual, Adobe Acrobat reader or a web browser?

I recently reinstalled the operating system on my laptop and I forgot to add Adobe Acrobat reader. As a result if I open a saved pdf (manual) the laptop uses my browser and being honest it seems better than using the reader, word searches seem quicker for one thing.
So I am wondering if I have been unwise to previously stick to installing and using the reader? If relevant I do not create or edit pdf's

Personal choice to be honest @PhiliusFoggg - whatever you find easiest for what you use it for.

I'm a stalwart for Adobe as that's what I've always known, but seen it in Edge and seems to work ok.

I can’t see any difference either way so as long as you can open it to read it that's all that matters, Edge may have a use afteall I never use it.

User choice here is fine. They all do the same thing with the output formatted slightly differently.
