Recently I crashed my Air 2 from about 6 feet, no major damage except to my pride (thank God) and joy. This is because I stupidly set it to parallel instead of trace and for some reason it decided to rotate (Move sideways) around my target into a tree and got stuck in the branch / leaves.
I now know not to employ Parallel unless its absolutely clear.
A new thought has come to mind, was that would it be better to track with the propeller guards ON? I know its not a cure for stupidity, and wont prevent every leaf or branch but at least if it does go sideways there is a barrier? Will it just hit until it drops?
Usually I'm just tracking my son learning to ride his bike, he's still rather slow, like just maybe 10-12km/h, nowhere near speeds that require full tilt on the drone.
Any thoughts?
