Advice for a novice drone operator looking for best stills image quality.

Yes I pulled it down and worked with for a while. It handles the lens issue well, pulls down a dedicated profile for the cameras, both P4 and MP2.

No layer support that I can see like in C1 which I use a lot.

Overall a good alternative for sure and I will keep it in my toolkit. Thanks for the suggestion.

No later support true but once you’ve corrected the lens distortion then you can ask DxO to dump the file in to C1 or any other editing program.

Will it dump out as a dng? That would be excellence.

Yes I think it does. I have only just gone back to it after a lengthy absence but I’m sure I used to push the RAW files straight across to PS.

I will try it tomorrow and post a couple of screen shots.

Did some work testing. DxO will export a dng to Lightroom with all the corrections you added in DxO. It will also export to your hard drive as a dng same features. Can't find a way to get it to export to Capture One, but have opened a ticket with support.

Not a bad alternative, and will work with DxO some more. For sure it seems to handle the lens correction quite well.
