Here is a mix of images- We are in our last days of game drives before heading back home via Nairobi to Doha,Qatar, then JFK, and Miami. A full 2 days of flying. Some beautiful eagles here. The Tawny Eagle and the spectacular Bateleur Eagle with mate. Another lion kill by the lioness, and her mate, running along the shore to nab another wildebeest. Finally another serval cat. These are very hard to find and I felt really fortunate to sight three on this trip. All shot with Nikkor 600 mm f/4 and Nikon D750 using a bean bag for support.

The shot where the lion is on the ground, head up, looks likes he hears the music... Aweem aways, Aweem away, Aweem away... :)

Well Dave....the back story to that male lion is that they both totally ruined our crossing! We waited for hours for the wildebeests to finally get up enough courage to cross. Then , as they started across by the hundreds, the female nabbed a wildebeest and the male ran along the shoreline for another one. He quickly tired out and sat and rested as you see him here. The entire remainder of the thousands and thousand of animal immediately turned tail and ran away. They were ALL gone in less than 5 minutes after all of that waiting!

I see that lion and think of the Disney scene "The Circle of Life."Screen Shot 2021-10-27 at 3.11.52 PM.pngScreen Shot 2021-10-27 at 3.14.35 PM.png

These are terrific pics using your hand held camera. Since this is forum about DRONES, how about some video/shots of that beautiful landscape you were in?
