As I understand it there is no connection with either screen-device, IOS and Android, and, obviously, their differing cables.
You say you have tried other cables, by this do you mean in addition to the two cables that you must have used to connect the differing types of screen device?
Assuming you did not connect one cable to another the first common point between the two situations would seem to be the controller to phone socket on the controller, have you had a look in that to see if there is any fluff etc. in there?
Do you normally leave the controller to screen device cable attached to the controller? Do you switch IOS and Android screen devices frequently? I am just wondering if it is possible you could have damaged the socket whilst plugging in a cable.
Did the controller get wet at all?
Do you have a USB to female-USB-C extension cable that would allow you to connect either screen device to a computer VIA the original cables? If so can the computer talk to and charge those screen devices?
