Aircraft orientation symbol when using iPad

Interesting you say that, however I have a WiFi on iPad mini 5, with all the latest updates and I have no compass on the iPad and no option to recalibrate any such thing. I haven’t experienced any problems not showing my position/direction locator as long as I utilize WiFi or a hotspot.

There doesn’t seem to be a way to manually calibrate it.

Open the "Maps" app. At the top right, you'll see an i in a circle, and an "arrowhead" icon. Tap the arrowhead. That puts you in local compass mode. Then move the iPad around in a figure-eight for a couple of passes, and the compass should correct itself.
