I find it hard to estimate distance (to an obstacle) directly in line behind the done even when I'm watching it, not the display. The further away it is the harder it gets, for me. I have never heard of the policy is it under homeowners ?Big time bummer. It looks like the parts aren't even salvageable. $60 a year thru State Farm insurance policy, they'd replace it, even fly always or unrecoverable drones. I think it's better than the DJI Refresh policy. Good luck.
No, it can be specifically written to cover your drone and all accessories. I pay $75 per year for my State Farm policy. Replacement only, not liability.
