You know that Top Altitude stand for take off point not flight altitude?

As in legally or physically possible? Legally depends on your country this is one you should really know already ?. 400 feet is the typical legal cut off though. That’s plenty high.

The Mavic Pro stock has a software limit of 500m above the take off point. However, if modifying the software limits the max service ceiling is 5000 meters above sea level. I really doubt there are many places you could take off from, reach that height, and then make it down on one battery though.

Short answer higher then you would want or should go

400 ft above ground level or above a building or ground feature. As for capability I have taken off from 12000 ft above sea level and had no problem climbing or maneuvering.

Also I depends on the time of day. In the summer at high noon it’s hotter than Helsinki at 12000’ much hotter then at 5000’.

There's no mention of Phantom motors or props and it sounds like he's used a purpose built drone for the attempt.

If you look attentivly the clip you will see some scenes where the drone is flying upside down and still going up in altitude... This is IMO a fake as still discussed in the first thread.

Now wether this is doctored or not I don’t know but I know @lolo780 has done a lot of stuff on to his bird and is well known in the modifications section of the forum. I have some ideas about what he has done to his bird and have seen other seemly impossible stunts so he has done Top speed so either he’s been fleecing us for a long time now or this is legit but I doubt it was done with a stock mavic
