This is now a constant , every time I click on a post in daily emails I get asked this, if there are 20 new posts and I want to read them all I have this window 20 times, the same thing is happening in the Phantom and Inspire Forum daily emails, how can I stop this from happening, UK Pilot, Cheers Len

Yes, it's a pain, but I find that if you stay logged in by not closing your browser window, then subsequent browser windows won't generate that splash screen.

I open the daily email, click on first post, I am then asked to sign up for daily emails, then click on second post and thereafter each post and every time the question is asked, I only read daily emails in my email app Microsoft Office outlook, not via browser, cheers Len

if using windows 10,,

In Edge,
1. log into the @pilots forum of choice
2. login to the site but check the stay logged in box
3. press ctlr+shift+del keys at the same time, this will bring up the "Clear browsing data" dialog window.

you will have a list of options that can be selected to clear immediately or when the browser window is closed.

to prevent cached data from clearing when the browser is closed make sure your "Always clear this when I close the browser" at the bottom is turned off.

In Internet Explorer
1. log into the @pilots forum of choice
2. login to the site but check the stay logged in box
3. Click on the Settings icon, should be on the top/right, the little gear icon
4. select internet options
5. select the general tab
under "Browsing history" section ensure the "Delete browsing history on exit" is not check

This should do the trick. the forum uses cookies that are stored on your machine. the forum software needs this data to remember you, otherwise you start at first base every time you access a site. just make sure that if you access a site that is not so safe, and go "OOPs" just use step 3 under the edge section above to clear all. just remember that will clear all based on what you choose to delete.

Hope this helps.

Happy and safe flying
