Amazon River Dolphins (above & below the surface)

Scubadiving with the incredible dolphins in the lake of the Balbina Dam in the Amazon. Aerial and underwater images of these curious and sweet freshwater aquatic mammals interacting in the wild with no artificial means to attract them.

With my Mavic Zoom I was able to capture some footage from above without having to fly low and risking my bird! This drone is perfect for wildlife footage!!

What species of dolphin are they

I've seen bottle nose dolphin fairly close up at Chanonry Point on Black Isle in Scotland.

Since acquiring a Mavic Pro, I've wondered about trying for some aerial shots of them when I next visit the area, but common sense tells me that there will be too many people in the area.

The Amazon River Dolphin is a endangered species, but may benefit from videos like this if it helps ecotourism to pick up for it- then people will see the economic benefit of protecting them. Good job!
