Really a shame that DJI allowed a no-name drone company to beat them to the punch with the world's first 360 drone. They're getting all the good press along with all the features and it's all because DJI didn't face the competition in the market required to continue to drive innovation. Might be too late at this point.
We've been asking for DJI to do so many things now that Skydio is gone but they never found their way. In fact, DJI seemed to have slowed with less compatibility between products and the same feature sets not improved. For example, the AG
A1 has skypath which the old DJI drones had but has since been abandoned; the Skydio had it but for camera drones, not the greatest; much better for FPV and a *must* for 360 drones. Will
Avata 360 have it? Not likely if they stick with the same old equipment they're using for NEOs and Avatas or else they would have done it already. I guess we'll see.
Watch/playback videos in the
goggles? How's the OA? Is it really 8K? So many review videos to go through, stay tuned. I suspect we'll hear a lot about this on the run up to the
Avata 360, this is DJIs chance to reign supreme before they wink out in the US.
