I'm hearing the pricing is out of line and will come down by quite a bit so I'm not going to be the first to pay more for early access. There is no anti-gravity deadline so buying it later in 2026 should be no big deal.
Awesome! Finally!Just picked one up this morning. I have used their 360 cameras since the xone.
Something I've noticed is that the pricing of 'alternative' drones seems to be more or less in line with the now 'normalized' cost of post-tariff Chinese drones... which means that US buyers will be paying well over the actual price of still superior DJI products as they are sold throughout the rest of the world.Small promo currently at Best Buy, the $1999 package now comes with a $100 BBY gc. It's an early look at more possible holiday pricing to come. Still a bit too much for my liking, I would prefer something about $1499 before I bite.
Unfortunately it doesn't look like the DJI Avata 360 is going to launch before Christmas so it only gives AG more time to get the A1 in line with the lower price predicted for the Avata 360.
For sure, we are being taken advantage of. You have to look really hard for a good deal and even more so if you look outside of DJI drone range (and area I'm not familiar with and therefore less likely to pay the higher price primarily because I'm not getting a superior product to begin with). I'm curious to see what happens after next week.Something I've noticed is that the pricing of 'alternative' drones seems to be more or less in line with the now 'normalized' cost of post-tariff Chinese drones... which means that US buyers will be paying well over the actual price of still superior DJI products as they are sold throughout the rest of the world.
That happens in any market with tariffs. Add a tariff to raise the price of an imported product, and the prices of domestic products will go up to meet the imported price. The "Chicken Tax" on light trucks is why trucks are high-profit products for US carmakers.Something I've noticed is that the pricing of 'alternative' drones seems to be more or less in line with the now 'normalized' cost of post-tariff Chinese drones... which means that US buyers will be paying well over the actual price of still superior DJI products as they are sold throughout the rest of the world.
