Any way to charge the batteries without the AC or car charger?

I'm sure the answer to this is no but thought it worth checking. I've gone on holiday with the Mavic 2 Pro and managed to forget the AC battery charger and the car charger (I thought I kept the latter in the car but I can't find it). From what I can see there's no way of charging the batteries in the drone itself and I'm in a rural location where it's unlikely I could get a replacement charger delivered in time. Is that my drone grounded or is there any way around it?

Not correct for the Mavic 2 Pro. See posts 4 and 5.

If your car has a USB outlet and you have the appropriate cable, you can connect it to the USB C port on the drone and charge the battery, but it will be painfully slow. Most any AC USB charger could be used the same way. There's nothing special about a drone charger.

I was in the Sterling area last week and could have loaned you a charger as a good excuse to drive a littler further north.

I’m pretty sure the USB port on the Mavic 2 Pro is only for data transfer.

OP- best chance is to see here on our member maps link if there are any drone enthusiasts in the area that can help:

That's correct, it was before the days of USB PD being widespread so it doesn't support it which means it wouldn't have much power to charge a battery over that port. The charger is completely bespoke to the Mavic 2 unfortunately.

I'm not sure there's any Mavic 2 owners in the Highlands but I'm in the outer Hebrides and off the mainland just to give an idea how rural it is. Thankfully it's the same spot I was in last year and did get most of the shots I wanted so it's not as bad as coming for the first time and missing out completely.
