Based on many postings, the Remote Identification Module that has been the most popular for less than $100 is the Holy Stone RID Module for $89.99 on Amazon.

I have recently found the Ruko R111 FAA Compliant Remote ID Module for $59.99 on Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0CYCBCZ9Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A126VAPWJ5Y2G5&psc=1

The Specifications for both are basically the same, however, the only reviews that I have been able to find for Ruko R111 are on Amazon and none are independent…

The Holy Stone FAA Compliant Remote Identification Broadcast Module Specs are: Charging Time: 1.5 Hours; Usage Time: 5 Hours; Weight: 14g, and Size: 1.5"x1.2"x0.5"
Amazon Cost: $89.99

The Ruko R111 FAA Compliant Remote ID Module Specs are: Charging Time: 45-minutes; Usage Time: 5 Hours; Weight: 13.5g; Size: size of 1.3"x1.1"x0.5"
Amazon Price: $59.99

Both have a FAA UAS Declaration of Compliance Certification. So I imagine that The Ruko has been good enough to pass whatever test the FAA threw at it.

Has anyone had any experience with the Ruko R111 RID Module?

Thanking you in advance…

I saw a video for them It was incomplete! The guy actually ended the video on the words "lets give it a test" then nothing. If it were me I think I would just spend the extra 30 bucks for the Holy Stone. I have not found any "offsite" reviews for that module either. I use the DroneTag BS its not a module so its not so cheap.

Thank you for looking, I continue to scan the internet and I also come up empty… I've also posted this on a couple of other web sites and "no joy" there either… As you advised, I will probably go with the Holy Stone RID Module.

I recently bought a Ruko R111 module for my Phantom 3 Advanced and it works great. I tested it out on our property and had my wife observe the entire flight using a drone scanner app. There was no signal loss or any other issues. The module came with a charging cable, zip ties and a number of velcro pieces.
Aerial Pixel recently started manufacturing a clamp-on mount for the Phantom 3 and R111 module.

This was my followup posting on the Roku...
