Are Mavic 2 Pro settings stored in controller, or phone?

I'm loaning a friend my Mavic 2 Pro, and wondering, if he changes settings, will those be stored on his phone, or will he be changing my settings in the controller?

Not basic camera settings, but more like drone prefs.
