Hello pilots!
I bought my second M2P in March 2020 and noticed the signal strength was significantly weaker than my first M2P which I bought in September 2018 when they first came out. The battery life on the original remote was terrible, using about 20% battery per flight, but the range and ability to stay connected around obstacles was amazing. The new remote has much better battery life, but the radio is about as good as my P4 standard, especially around obstacles.
Putting these two facts together seems that the newer remote has dialed down the transmit power to extend the battery life?
I was going to try to pair the old remote to the new Mavic as an experiment but wanted to know if anyone had similar experience.
