I like the first picture because it looks more natural and powerful. Sorry, but the second does not convince me ... just my thoughts ...

Well, I took this from about the same place but with Mavic Zoom which makes the mountain look a wee bit closer.

I am kidding. I do not own a Mavic Zoom. But, I am curious how to make something so far away look so close while foreground remains in perfect focus?

I honestly have no idea about photography, filming and art. I have my Mavic mainly, so there is a reason for me to go somewhere with my bike and friends at leisure.

Actually, I only take pictures with my smartphone, and that rarely happens. And when I fly with my Mavic, I also like to do only full HD video recordings. But except scene editing is no post-processing.

I like being able to extract individual pictures from videos with my smartphone. I am pleased with the low resolution, and sometimes I print a few small pictures of it with an old but still good Sony thermal photo printer.

I can not give more attention to the matter. I just have too many hobbies ... In short, I love it when shots or video shots happen to give good results, so no post processing is needed ...

Love em, @mnis I’m no photographer but im doing my best to try and get a cracking photo. My goal is to get one framed and hung on the wall but it’s got to be QC’d 1st by my wife before that happens, all I’m getting from the wife is “keep trying”

Another sunrise photo I took yesterday, still not good enough for the wife

one good thing though I’m getting good use out of one of my Christmas pressies, my gloves

still fill the cold but sooo much better

Porky, I think its a good photo and I love flying and shooting over water myself. I would not necessarily give up on the dream of getting permission to hang the picture somewhere inside the home but by sound of things you may have to either settle for the garage (if you have one) or take different kind of picture. BTW finished my roadwork this morning and then wrapped up with the medicine ball. Training is right on schedule. Mt. Rainier here we come!
