Bait drop system

Has anyone tried the Drone Sky Hook Bait Drop System for the Mavic Air?
It looks interesting and i'd love to get my fishing bait 500 yards out into deeper water.

I haven't used any of them, but tempted for a bit of gutter fishing, or having a bit of a play with land based things.
Gannet also have one for hte air (and other DJI drones) . . .

I suppose these electronic releases should be very reliable, but there is this simple mechanical release device by Gannet too that might do what you want . . .

Even a line with simple L type of bracket setup that line under tension flying out would keep line in the corner, once at gutter etc you just turn and it'd slip off ?
