Base sound on videos.

Early on one of my first videos shot from the Mavic included the discussion that was going on around me overplayed with the video I shot. That was an accident, but now, trying to repeat, I can't. My videos are all silent. Is there a way to add the sound from the controller or iPad mic to my video, or was my earlier accident an unreproducable fluke?

No accident, simply not possible. The tablet will record both the video feed and the local sound picked up from the tablets mic, but the Mavic is video only.

Now I am really confused. I thought it was not possible to record the Mavic video on the iPad at all. Just got threw reading a bunch of posts saying so. I still don't understand how that early video did what I want now and captured the sound.

You can store a lower quality version of the video on your iPad if you enable this setting:
