Battery Question - New Batt, Old Charger

Hi All, I'm new to the forums, but not new to the Mavic.

Last summer I lost my original Mavic to salt water...so I am considering the new Mavic 2 Pro. I would like to know if my old charger can charge the batteries for the new model. I have the 4 charger block the came with the original, and wondering if that would work too.

Appreciate the help.

Mavic pro charger will not work with Mavic 2 batteries.

Fair enough. It seems like both models have 10 pins. I wonder if the 4 charging block would work with the new charger.

The reason I'm asking is because I want to buy the new controller, and don't want to spend the money on the fly more combo. If I could use the new charger with the old charging block, that'd be nice.

You'll need to use the Mavic 2 charging hub.

You can find some 3rd party Mavic 2 battery chargers here.

You can't. The connectors are different, and the new batteries have more cells and require more power to charge.
